Our comprehensive dental examination starts with a thorough question and answer session to make sure we understand the patient’s issues, wants, and needs. From there we will perform a complete review of your medical and dental health, including oral cancer screening, periodontal exam, airway assessment, TMJ evaluation, screening for tooth decay, evaluation of existing restorations, examination of tooth surfaces for wear from tooth grinding or acid erosion, as well as a cosmetic evaluation.

This service is also known as prophylaxis. We offer both ultrasonic as well as conventional scaling. Our hygiene team is very skilled and will be sure to keep you comfortable while also keeping your smile bright and healthy.

“Framing the perfect smile.” A smile is more than just teeth. We provide facial aesthetic services to help keep you looking your best and provide convenience for our patients to be able to obtain these services at a regular dental checkup.

Certain gum conditions require more advanced treatment in order to maintain optimum health. This often involves more thorough cleaning below the gum line but can also include localized laser treatments, antibiotic therapy, or surgery.

Implant treatment involves two basic stages: Surgical placement of the implant and restoring or placing the tooth or teeth over the implants. Both services are available within our practice.

Two different whitening procedures are available at our office: Take-home whitening kits and in-office whitening with ZOOM! Whitening System.

Lasers are used in our practice to enhance treatment outcomes in all types of procedures from aesthetics to treatment of cold sores.

From a single dark tooth to a complete smile restoration, we offer many different services to help our patients achieve the smile they have always wanted.

Clear aligner orthodontic treatments are an integral part of our practice. They are a very effective way to create a beautiful smile without “braces” or other more invasive dental treatments.

In some cases, due to wear, fracture, advanced decay, periodontal disease, or a combination of any of the above a patient’s condition may require a reconstruction of their dentition. Full mouth reconstruction not only restores the aesthetics of a smile but also lost function and a younger facial appearance.

Digital dentistry includes 3D modeling of teeth with a digital camera vs. traditional impressions. Digital dentistry can be used for procedures ranging from 3D printed models of your teeth, surgical implant planning, crowns, and veneers as well as smile makeover planning.

In most instances, we offer same-day crowns for cases that require this treatment. This provides a predictable, strong, highly aesthetic treatment for our patients with no impression or temporary crown in a single visit.

Some aesthetic treatments can be provided for patients without having to remove any of their natural tooth structure. “Bonding” is a procedure by which we can add highly aesthetic resins to your existing tooth enamel to close spaces, black triangles at the gum line, or change the shape and color of your teeth.

Most TMJ issues are related to problems with a patient’s bite or their “occlusion”, the symptoms of which are often due to muscle inflammation. We offer a combination of appliance therapy, physical therapy, and medication where indicated. For more severe cases, we have a network of specialty referrals to help our patients.

Snoring negatively affects your sleep as well as the sleep of those close to you. Oral appliance therapy is an effective method for treating snoring. While snoring is a problem in and of itself, it is also a potential sign of sleep apnea which has now been shown to increase the likelihood of a myriad of health conditions, including gastric reflux and heart disease. These conditions can result in shortened life expectancy. Cases of mild to moderate sleep apnea can be effectively treated with an oral appliance. We offer examination and 3-D x-rays to screen for warning signs of sleep apnea.

Severe detrimental destruction of the function and appearance of patients’ teeth can be due to teeth grinding (bruxism) during their sleep. We provide comfortable, low-profile appliances for patients when indicated to prevent the destruction of their teeth.

Properly identifying and treating potential airway constriction can have a lifelong effect on a child’s health, including physical development, their ability to effectively sleep, concentration, and their dental health.
